The following links will take you to useful websites.
Query Shark - This site is a must-read for learning how to write pitches and queries.
Wikipedia - This may seem so obvious that I shouldn't bother listing it, but this online encyclopedia helps me learn and check the facts in my stories. Just be sure to verify the information in the references cited for each article.
Orlando Sci-Fi & Fantasy Writers Meetup Group - Meets about once a month in Orlando, FL. I've received many quality critiques from the members of this group.
Tuesdays with Story - Meets at Barnes & Noble on the west side of Madison, WI every Tuesday. I once attended this group on a regular basis and received great feedback on my stories.
Milwaukee Writers Workshop - I attended this group for about a year and got a lot out of it. It has grown from a small short story critique group to a full-fledged writing organization with numerous sub-groups (like the novel critique group), classes, and events.
Saint Louis Writers Meetup Group - This was my first writing group. They did me the service of figuratively tearing the first chapter of my first novel to pieces.
